Currently I work as a part of the project Towards a corpus-based typology of clause linkage on the development of an analytical framework for corpus-based studies of clause linkage as well as appropriate annotation techniques and technical prerequisites (annotation tool, query language). These topics also form the subject of my PhD thesis.
Previously my work was mainly about grammatical relations and argument coding – first within linguistic theories (primarily Distributed Morphology), later from a typological perspective. In this context I spent two years in the project Typological variance in the processing of grammatical relations.
My further interests include the development of technical infrastructure for linguistic research (magister thesis on a semantic representation of argument coding; current project) and Kiranti languages (Tibeto-Burman), in particular their verbal morphology.
